Castle Park in the rain

Spires In The Rain

Walking through Castle Park, this time in the rain and the dark, and I noticed how many church spires you can actually see from there.  I counted five, but by the time I got that shot the pretty effect caused by the rain here had pretty much taken over.  Plus, you know, it was raining and I was getting wet.  But I like this a lot.  I promise I'll move onto a new location soon.  Maybe.  Perhaps...

Bristol Bridge/Castle Park

Free Parking

I went into the centre today to go to the theatre with my boyfriend's nan and uncle, and on the way, just underneath Bristol Bridge, I saw this.  Now you all know what it's like trying to find a parking space in the centre of town.  I think I may have just found the solution.

Winter Behind The Church

I don't know what this water feature is meant to represent, but to me it looks like an acorn (at the far end) and a flower.  There's no explanation or name for it, this is just hidden at the top of Castle Park behind the old ruined church.  I walked back through Castle Park to get the bus home and came across it.  In this end are all the old leaves that have fallen from the trees along either side.  I must go back in the Summer when everything is in bloom and compare the two.
